We already have the estimate for the 2025 harvest offered by Terra nova, the first one with, let's say, the highest impact, with the following result:
1.360.000 acres × 2.060 lb/acre = 2,80 Blbs
If we assume that the current 2024 harvest will be around 2.70 Blbs, we are talking about an increase of just over 3.7%.
If we consider a surplus of 500 Mlbs, similar to the current level, which is quite possible if values similar to those of last year continue to be repeated, we would have a surplus of around 3.30 Blbs available.
The difference with last year's Terra Nova estimate, which was 3 Blbs to finally stay at around 2.70 Blbs, is that they estimated the same area as this year (1,360,000 acres) but a yield of 2,185 lb/acre. This year they estimate the same area with a lower yield of -5.7%.
Thanks
We await with pleasure the opportunity to greet you
